About the Department
The department of Information Technology was established in the year 2001 with annual intake of 30 to offer 3 years full-time diploma course. The mission of the department is 'to provide high quality technical education to build excellent engineers of informatics.
The department is the fastest growing one in our college. It prepares the students for successful and engineering careers with emphasis on technical competency, and with attention to team work and effective communication. Also, the department develops the students for the successful permit of graduate studies and for lifelong learning in computer engineering and related fields.
The department has well qualified and dedicated faculties involved as a team to impart technical education to the students with latest systems and soft wares. The department is furnished with hi-tech computer centers consisting of all technical facilities.
The students are found with excellent job opportunities in a number of Public and Private sectors through campus interviews.
The department is furnished with excellent computer centers to cater to the needs of advanced learning environments in information technology. It includes the following laboratories.

The department is excellently functioning to impart hi-tech education in the field of information technology. The professional societies like ISTE and IE (I) students' chapters organize, seminars, technical symposia, both at State and National levels.
Through the continuing education cell of CIICP (Canada India Institutional Co-operation Project) the department conducts the short term technical courses for the benefit of the students. The courses include
